Bharani sits between Ashwini's fresh start and Krittika's cutting fire. Its symbol is the womb: what has to be carried, endured and finally let go. Yama, who governs both death and dharma, presides over it.

Underneath a composed surface you feel a great deal, and you hold yourself to a strict inner moral code, sometimes so strict that you become your own harshest judge. There is strength in bearing difficulty without making a scene of it.

Work that deals with endings, transitions or moral responsibility suits Bharani: law, ethics, counselling people through major changes, any role that asks you to hold a hard process steady. Venus rules the nakshatra, so creative and aesthetic fields also open up when the discipline goes into them.

Bharani loves intensely and expects the same back. A lukewarm partner will frustrate you more than almost anyone. Once committed, loyalty is close to absolute, but you also need some solitude now and then to work through what you are carrying.
