Mula

Mula opens philosophical Dhanu with a nakshatra about roots, both literal and figurative. Nirriti, goddess of dissolution, presides over it, and Ketu's rule sharpens its instinct to strip away the surface and reach what is fundamentally true.

You need to understand the underlying truth of things and are rarely satisfied by surface explanations. There is investigative depth in you, and a willingness to take apart what is not working, even when it makes the people around you uncomfortable.

Research, philosophy, investigation and fields that deal with roots, whether literal (herbalism, agriculture) or figurative (root-cause analysis, depth psychology), suit Mula. Its link with dissolution also draws it toward transformative or crisis-related work.

Mula wants honesty at the foundation of a relationship, and surface connection does not satisfy it. That can mean an unusual readiness to ask hard questions or to end something that is not authentic. Some partners find that unsettling until they see the need for truth behind it.

Rakshasa gana: Mula is easiest with its own kind and with Manushya, and takes more work with Deva partners. A full Ashtakoota match needs both charts.
